Anywhere and Everywhere

In recent years, I have experienced more and more anxiety in my everyday life.  It can be hard to take a moment and notice the beauty all around me. On a whim, I started taking Polaroids of myself in moments when I was feeling particularly anxious or sad.  Externalizing my feelings in this way turned out to be therapeutic.  Then I carried the Polaroids with me and attempted to find inspiration-- It was an exercise in being present.  The resulting juxtaposition shows that no matter how beautiful or mundane the surroundings, feelings can exist anywhere and everywhere.
